How we met:
Lee and I met at work, Robert Bratt Films. We weren't really interested in dating each other at first, but we spent a lot of time together as friends and somehow couldn't stand to be apart. I think he was just really impressed with my musical straw talents at the fast food restaurant.
The very first time I saw Lee in person, it was on Halloween and he was standing on our boss's roof adjusting the fog machine.
Our first date:
We're trying to figure out what was our first official date. Both were here in Rexburg. One date we played games with friends on campus then went out for hot chocolate at DQ. The second we went out to a movie, "Enchanted", with his brother, Rick, and Aura then we had hot chocolate at IHOP. Good times, good times.
The Proposal:
I was in California, so Lee flew out to Sacramento to visit me. We toured San Francisco for the day. He was so excited that he took so many pictures that he wore out the batteries in my camera before we actually even stopped anywhere. We drove down Embarcadero (how to spell that I have no idea) stopped to walk around near the Golden Gate Bridge, then later at the Palace of Fine Arts. After San Fran we crossed the bridge into Oakland and did sealings at my favorite temple. Afterwards we were standing infront of the fountain and the temple, when he asked me to marry him. He picked up my right hand, I raised my left and asked if he maybe wanted that hand. He put on an oversized mood ring that I had bought him for Christmas (In his rush to California he forgot my ring in Idaho). We ran back to the car and grabbed the uncharged camera and a disposable camera hoping to capture the moment. When finish we headed back to my grandparents home. Within 5 minutes in the car I noticed that I had already lost the oversized ring. We laughed, and after he brought me back to Idaho with him he gave me my ring that he had hidden in the backside of a Mr. Potato Head.
